In observance of Thanksgiving, there will be no classes this Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd. Classes will resume Saturday, November 24th.

Like Halloween a month ago, Thanksgiving is another holiday that isn’t widely celebrated in China. However, unlike Halloween, there isn’t a similar holiday that takes place around the same time. In China, it is usually the American expats that celebrate Thanksgiving. For the Chinese that pick up on this holiday, they think of it as a time to have a Western meal and thank friends, family, coworkers, teachers, or bosses.
